Need help shipping your clarinet?
We can help arrange inbound UPS shipping using our discounted rates. The inbound shipping cost is reimbursed when we ship your instrument back to you. You will need to provide the box and packing materials, of course, but we can help save you money!
How inbound shipping works based on insured value:
- Insurance $1,000 or less: we can email a printable label for drop-off at a UPS Store or UPS location at your convenience.
- Insurance over $1,000: UPS requires a driver pickup. Pickup can be scheduled by day (Mon – Fri), not a specific time. The driver will arrive with a pre-printed label and pick up the package.
Insurance note: With clarinets, insurance mainly protects against loss, not routine shipping damage. If a shipment is lost, UPS generally pays up to the declared insurance value – so choose a value you are comfortable with.
Insurance is often the largest part of the shipping cost (approximately $1.20 per $100 of insured value).
Please use the form below to request a quote for a shipping label. After you submit, we will review the request and let you know the final cost – usually within one business day.
What you will need before submitting:
- The dimensions of the box you plan to use
- Your full pickup address
- Your desired insurance value
We only use your information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not share it or use it for advertising.
Packing reminder: Please make sure the clarinet is secure inside the case and the case is well padded inside the shipping box. While clarinets are generally harder to damage in shipping, proper packing is still important. Make sure all parts of the clarinet are secure in the case and cannot move during transit, as movement is what can lead to damage.
