Crack Repair
A cracked wood clarinet is every player’s nightmare – and it can happen regardless of how carefully you maintain your instrument. What matters most is how the crack is repaired. Minor Overhaul
One of our most popular services. The Minor Overhaul is an instant performance upgrade for intermediate to semi-professional instruments – particularly wood clarinets with standard pads (Buffet E11 through R13 range).
We replace all upper joint pads with Valentino Master Series pads, which immediately improve resonance, response clarity, and tonal fullness. These pads carry a 10+ year life expectancy – more than double traditional pads. Also includes checking all corks and felts, regulating all pads, and complete wood servicing.
This service typically takes 3–5 days to complete.
