The clarinet is a precision instrument. Small imperfections – uneven tone holes, worn pads, misaligned keywork – can have an outsized effect on playability and tone. Many players assume their instrument has simply aged and isn’t as good as it used to be. In most cases, that isn’t true. A properly serviced clarinet plays better, responds faster, and sounds fuller. Regardless of whether your clarinet is a Selmer Paris clarinet or not, this designation was earned as one of only about 10 such shops in North America. ProShops are designated based on their repair expertise so that customers can know without a doubt that the shop is capable of taking care of their repair needs.
